U.S. OWNED - LOCATED AND INCORPORATED IN CALIFORNIA
These are 0.034 inch (0.86 mm) diameter pins that need to loaded into a tray for placement by a PCB assembly machine.
This was the old way of doing it.
Here is the self-contained robotic system that accepts loose pins and loads them into a tray. The system includes the pin dispenser at right, the tray loader at the front, and the robot arm that takes a pin from the dispenser and transfers the pin to the loader. The controller and power supply are contained in the enclosure on the left.
Elite Robotics has experience with integrating complete solutions for customers. We have designed and built systems that utlize:
The work cell shown below cleans and inspects tiny pins with internal threads. The pins are provided loose in bags. The three stages of this work cell pick a single pin from the loose pins, transfer it with a robot arm to a cleaning station, then transfer the pin to a visual inspection station, than drop the pin into either "good" or "rejected" receptacle.
Many of the products that Elite Robotics has developed include new and innovative features that we protect as intellectual property. Elite Robotics has a portfolio of patents that includes robotics, dispensing, vision systems, and remote sensing.
